Verizon Receives Over $2.26 Million in Media Value at Verizon Heritage
PHILADELPHIA April 19, 2010 –According to industry leaders in sponsorship evaluation Front Row Analytics, Verizon received $2,262,499 in media value through on-screen text, verbal mentions, and signage during Sunday’s final round at the 2010 Verizon Heritage. This year’s event took place at Harbour Town Golf Links at The Sea Pines Resort in Hilton Head, South Carolina. Top players in the field consisted of Jim Furyk, Woody Austin, Camilo Villegas and Ricky Barnes all competing for a $5,700,000 purse.

Jim Furyk won in a playoff to capture this year’s title, with an impressive 13 under par. However Verizon did not come up too far behind earning a hefty sum of exposure after driving their partnership right down the fairway for over $2.26 million in media exposure. The exposure was received through multiple outlets including caddie vests, pin flags, tee markers, and gallery signage by 128 sequences.
