Godaddy.com Receives Well Over $3M in Media Value on Historic Day at Daytona
Philadelphia, PA February 15, 2010--Danica Patrick made her NASCAR Nationwide debut on Saturday, February 13th racing in the DRIVE4COPD 300. The race aired on FOX-TV from arguably the most famous track in all of racing, the Daytona International Speedway. GoDaddy.com, one of Danica’s major sponsors, received $3,256,666 in media exposure through 55 sequences over the course of the race, according to Front Row Analytics. GoDaddy.com’s exposure came in the form of verbal mentions and logo placement in and on Patrick’s car as well as multiple locations on her race suit.
Front Row Analytics is the evaluation division of Front Row Marketing Services, an industry leader in commercial rights sales and a subsidiary of the Philadelphia, PA based sport and entertainment firm, Comcast-Spectacor.
“There was no doubt that Danica’s first NASCAR race was going to create a lot of buzz. GoDaddy.com has supported Danica Patrick since 2006 and she in turn has created a vast amount of media value for their brand,” said Eric Smallwood, VP of Project Management for Front Row Marketing Services.
Although Danica’s day ended with a crash on the 69th lap, GoDaddy.com certainly has to be proud of the effort Danica Patrick displayed and the media value their brand generated at one of the most famous sport venues in the United States.
