Naming Rights:
Front Row Marketing Services Seals the Deal for Sun National Bank as New Naming Rights Sponsor for Mercer County Arena
The arena celebrated its 10-year anniversary on October 6, at which time the original ten-year deal with Sovereign Bank expired.
The 10,000 seat arena is home to the Trenton Devils of the East Cost Hockey League and the Philadelphia passion of the Lingerie Football League. In addition, this venue has played host to musical performances from Elton John, Bruce Springsteen and Cher, and other family entertainment such as Blue Man Group, Disney on Ice, Cirque Du Soleil and the Harlem Globetrotters.
Sun Bancorp, Inc. is a $3.5 billion asset bank holding company headquartered in Vineland, New Jersey. Its primary subsidiary is Sun National Bank, serving customers through 70 locations in New Jersey. Sun National Bank is the second largest commercial bank in New Jersey.
Senior Vice President of Business Operations, Adrian Staiti, and his FRMS staff, coupled with the efforts of Global Spectrum and Mercer County, negotiated a seven-year, $2.1 million naming rights deal, which included all interior and exterior signage. Given the current economic times, few naming rights contracts are being secured as businesses continue to slash marketing budgets and focus on cutting costs. This makes the work of Front Row all-the-more impressive.
"We warmly welcome Sun National Bank as new sponsor to our popular Arena," said Mercer County Executive Brian M. Hughes. "This is a great opportunity for Mercer County to partner with a prominent and caring local business that has a deep commitment to our region. Mercer County wishes Sun National Bank great success as we together take steps toward rebranding this terrific venue and help create wonderful memories for its visitors and fans."
